I thought it would be a good idea to find some interesting BDSM blogs, something different from the usual fare. Instead of blogs that just feature pictures of last week’s escapades, I thought I’d go for five different sites, each approaching BDSM from a different perspective. So without further delay, here they are:
Dominationsubmission
Dominationsubmission is an interesting blog written by Master P. He takes the approach that BDSM is a complete lifestyle and must be approached as such. The blog is updated fairly often, usually several times per week. Master P writes about interesting philosophical topics about the BDSM lifestyle. I like that he has a section dedicated to “Training Ideas”, and not just ones geared toward newbies. Continuing education is always a plus! I particularly like the picture section on dominationsubmission. They’re all high-quality, and the variety covers both artistic and sexy (or both!). The themed sections, like “BDSM Christmas Ideas”, can also be quite inspiring.
Kink In Exile
Kink in exile is a blog that is at the other end of the spectrum. It has an austere, simple look. It also takes the approach that BDSM shouldn’t, or doesn’t need to, be a lifestyle. I think this can be an interesting viewpoint for those of you that may not be looking for an entirely new lifestyle, but still want to enjoy BDSM. Though Kink in exile isn’t updated quite as often as dominationsubmission, I think the quality of what’s posted makes it worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for a point of view that’s a little different from the mainstream.
Domina Victoria Rage
Victoria Rage is professional dom and her blog is interesting because it can give you insight into the professional side of things. Personally, I find that fascinating. There’s a whole new dynamic of balancing fun and pleasure against more mundane business concerns. Victoria updates her site often, sometimes several times a week. She writes both in general terms and about her personal experiences. I also love the stories and role playing fantasies she injects into her site every once in a while!
A Kind Dom
While I’m talking about blog’s by doms, here’s another one that is a completely different take than Victoria Rage’s professional blog. This blog gets updated about once a week, and is written by a dom that likes to emphasize the kinder and more sensual side of BDSM. Whether you like this type of BDSM or not, I think it’s wonderful to present it, even if for no reason other than letting people know it exists. The site has a simple look with almost no pictures, but I can think of some people I know that would definitely prefer a site with this tone over more traditional ones.
A Submissive’s Musings
Enough about doms, how about a blog run by a submissive? This blog is a great one to check out. It’s run by a married woman in the UK. For starters, I love the pictures done in 40’s and 50’s pinup girl style! The blog is updated about once a week, and in addition to regular blog posts, there are sections about rules, a training log of what training she’s completed and what she wants to complete. There is a log of punishments that she has earned, and lessons she has learned. And my favorite, she has a list of 101 things she wants to accomplish, some sexual but most nonsexual, which gave me more understanding into how BDSM fit into her life as a whole.
